The cousins hang out.

Will loved his gifts
But he really loved the boxes and paper

Emma Claire loves babies

Oliver came to spend a few days with my oldest brother's family at the beginning of the week and we met up at Gatti Town for some food and fun then went back to their house to exchange gifts. The kids had a great time and so did the adults. Will enjoyed the all you can eat buffet - he ate for 2 hours! It was good to have them all together since it is a rare occurence.

It was 80 degrees today? Really?

Will, don't mess with the presents!
Ok, I'll just take the bow off.

Will, don't mess with the tree!
Ok, I'll just take off the ornaments.
This sure is tastey!

The Gumball Machine

Will's cousin Alex shared some of his toys with him and lately Will has really enjoyed this gumball machine with the peek-a-block roll-arounds. I tried and tried to show him how to push the lever and he never would. But his daddy recently showed him how to do it and he does it like a pro! I guess there are some things that daddies do better than mommies. :)

Guess who's crawling!

Will has been scooting backwards in a crawling stance since the week before Thanksgiving but he has yet to go forward until today. I had to lure him with some paper to catch it on video. He hasn't quite figured out he can go to the Christmas tree, but I'm betting he will within a day or two. I guess we'll have to put the gifts up so he doesn't destroy them!

Snow day!

Our house on Friday morning

Well I guess Will was just ultra-prepared! We had a good snow storm come through on Thursday and drop a few inches in our area. We didn't get Will out in it because once it stopped snowing it starting raining/sleeting so he didn't get up close to the fluffy white stuff. Alas, the snow-suit is back in the closet again. I'm sure we won't get another dusting before he outgrows it!

Tis the season...

For reindeer heiny's!

The Beauty of Fall

This is one of the Bradford Pear trees in our front yard. There are but a few days a year that it looks like this. The color change happens nearly overnight then the wind takes the leaves off pretty quickly. God is so good to bless us with beautiful things to look at!

We went to my grandmother's house in Corinth the day after Thanksgiving. We were definitely thankful to be there since Will had been so sick just 2 days before. His cousin Oliver was also pretty ill the same day but made a quick recovery in time to visit with us. We used to spend every Thanksgiving and Christmas in Corinth but with all of our busy family lives and work schedules, it has proven difficult for us to get together these days. We all made it except for Joseph (brother #3). Though we missed him, I think 3 out of 4 kids isn't bad! We had a wonderful meal and a good time visiting. After lunch, my 2 sister in laws and I snuck away to Ginger's where we found some adorable kids clothes for 75% off! That's the only shopping I did that day, but it was pretty exciting!

Happy Birthday Miss Bear!

Typical smiley Lucy

Queen of the backyard

I have to give a shout out to our little girl, Miss Bear aka Lucy Bear or just plain Lucy. I'm not really sure why we started calling her Miss Bear, but we did and it stuck. She was our first sweet golden and I can't believe she's 4 years old already! Her birthday was actually yesterday but I forgot to post it. Now we have to go to Petsmart and let her pick out a toy!
